Tishana Baksh is a Toronto based interior designer whose love for design began from a young age helping her dad with wood working projects and renovating there family home. She learnt how to be innovative and found it so fulfilling to explore her creativity through art, dance and design. She graduated from Sheridan College with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design and got her first industry experience interning with House & Home magazine. This led Tishana to a full time position with a leading interior design firm and general contracting partnership where she gained 6 years of hands on work experience. In 2020 she decided to branch off on her own creating Maak Interior Design.

Tishana's expertise are in home renovations; she is known to create timeless designs that are a reflection of her clients style and personality. She believes that the spaces we live in should complement and enhance the design of our everyday lives. This principal runs at the core of her business and has allowed her to build great relationships with local artisan and trades that help bring client visions to life.
